For the uninitiated, SDLC is system development life cycle, which means the life cycle of system development. This is essentially a step by step in detail all the processes involved in the development of a system. A business analyst is intimately involved in the life cycle of systems development (SDLC).
To begin, a brief overview of the SDLC steps below for those who are new to IT and engineering, and refresh and refresh the memory of those who already know.
SDLC contains more of the following:
• Project planning and feasibility study – is where the project is planned in advance, schedules and results. A feasibility study is done before to determine if the system is indeed possible.
• Analysis of system requirements definition – This is where the business analyst, in consultation with the client’s project, which will be the end user of the system, defines the requirements in a clear and comprehensive analysis is done.
· System Design – This phase of the SDLC, where the system is designed as per requirement.
· System Development – Here, coding and development conducted by the technical team working on the project, composed of engineers and software programmers.
· System Implementation – This scheme is actually implemented, namely the developers really put together their own creations in the previous steps. This step may be commonly referred to as the creation software itself.
· System Integration and Test – This software was developed and implemented, are in fact tests to see if it works well until it is integrated.
· System requirements for approval and installation – Here, the software is developed and built to be revised if it is truly a work of living conditions, and to be useful to the customer’s business, which has been designed.
· System Maintenance – Software developed and should remain so. All the problems that follow are an appropriate value to maintain the software are well developed. timely and appropriate control software ensure proper functioning, efficient software.
The business analyst is involved in all stages of life. The business analyst works closely with the client, which is the final user of the project, and defines the requirements after a thorough review of the current system, and after measuring the viability of the news. Other phases also require the business analyst’s participation, as is the bridge between the client and the technical team of software developers and programmers working on the project.
The business analyst must be well versed in both – the client’s business to understand what they need from the system provided, and the computer and to solve technical problems and technical team that can tackle any project development.
